EXPERIENCE
-
As a Marketing Content Specialist at Automation Products Group, Inc., I led the redesign and ongoing management of the company website, focusing on improving user experience and ensuring SEO-optimized, persuasive copy. I developed and executed digital advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive traffic, with email campaigns achieving an average open rate of 30%. Additionally, I created content for product launches, social media, and trade show assets, driving higher brand exposure and engagement.
I collaborated with internal teams to align marketing content with business goals and worked with external vendors to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables. A key accomplishment was spearheading the website redesign, which resulted in a more intuitive interface and improved conversion rates, helping the company meet its digital marketing objectives.

NOV 2022 – APRIL 2024
At Weber State, I progressed from Graphic Designer to Lead Designer, contributing to and overseeing a wide range of digital, print, and social media projects.
As a Graphic Designer, I executed assigned projects while ensuring brand consistency, implementing feedback, and refining my design techniques.
As Lead Designer, I took on greater responsibilities, collaborating with clients to create designs aligned with their goals, managing a team, and ensuring deadlines were met. A key accomplishment was creating a department-specific brand guideline that complied with WSU’s brand standards. This streamlined the content creation process, helping the team produce more efficient, cohesive designs that maintained consistency across all materials.

SEPT 2023 – APRIL 2024
As President of AIGA, I worked closely with fellow officers to plan and execute events that engaged the design community. I maintained organized records of meetings and events, ensuring smooth communication and follow-through.
A key highlight of my role was leading the conceptualization and design of branding for both the Fall and Spring BFA Exhibition Shows, which showcased student work and creativity.
Additionally, I leveraged visual communication strategies to effectively market these events, boosting attendance and participation within the design community.
“The function of design is letting design function.”
