A Playful Summer Mocktail Brand

Swizzle is an imagined beverage brand offering “summer mocktails” that capture the carefree essence of the season in every sip. The playful packaging design, featuring scribbled drawings, embodies the laid-back feeling associated with summer. I also provided Swizzle with a website, adhering to the brand guidelines where consumers can learn more about what Swizzle offers.

The brand identity is designed to grab the attention of young adults with a bright white package and lively colors that make it stand out. By offering alcohol-free options, Swizzle expands its reach to a broader audience while maintaining a fun and refreshing appeal.

Approach & Outcome

The selected brand colors feel bright and youthful, appealing to the target audience. Studies show bright colors enhance taste perception, increasing consumer appeal. Varying these colors across flavors helps with distinction.

To shape the brand identity, I analyzed competitors like Poppi and Recess to identify market gaps. A moodboard helped define Swizzle’s playful aesthetic. The doodle-like illustrations, not typically seen in competitors, further set Swizzle apart and reinforce its carefree personality.
